Report a Policy Violation
As someone who has always prided herself on giving credit where it is due, it really boils my blood to see so many people on DA who really don't seem to give a damn about copyright infringements. So, I have written a sort of FAQ's of different issues I have come across. I know that a bunch of articles have been written about this subject, but I feel that I should do all that I can to help.

Well, I'm finally done with this one. I'm not as proud of it as I was when I was say... halfway through. The fin on the back looks horrible, but it was the only texture contrast I could think of at 5am. It might look better if I add a neck.
Yeah... Overall, I like the details, but the contrast is rather pathetic. And the fin and eyes. I spent at least half an hour trying to get the contrast and shape of the eyes right, but it never seemed to change. Enjoy? ----- (Copy pasted from the WIP) Alright... As I was browsing through the dragons of Deviantart, trying to find out how others did their scales, I came across this tutorial by  [link]That dragon is, by far, one of the best I have seen on this site. There is power going all the way through it, and the details just plain kick ass. I've never been good at flattering speeches, but you get my point. Go give it some love. Anyway, I was inspired to do a dragon head aswell (And obviously it's nowhere near as good.) You can see where the features are similar or the same... Call it fanart if you like. I'm just trying to learn details... I don't use enough detail I think. Also trying to get the pencil to look smoother without so much white flecks in the shading like paper normally does. Really light pencils take care of that. Blending stumps make it look so... flat. He has a moustache! 0.5 3H and 2B mechanical pencils 6B and 2B progresso Kneaded eraser and a pen eraser. |

Anyway, I love how you did the scales, not quite scale, not quite horn but slightly tentacle-esque.

The scales were annoying the hell outta me, so the final plan was "along as they're spiked, they can stay." Then trying to shade around it without going over the tiny point was even more annoying. I should really plan these things more...
I don't like the normal rounded scales... they just don't look intimidating enough on a creature of power like a dragon. Some people are really good with them, but the rounded scales just don't work with my hands
I love the scales and I hope only for you to keep it up.
